Pu-erh Hong Tai Chang Shen 2015
Hong Tai Chang Pu-erh Sheng 2015 (洪泰昌普洱生 2015) is a traditionally crafted raw Pu-erh tea cake from Wawee Village, Chiang Rai Province, Northern Thailand. Made from large-leaf Assamica trees, this 357g tea cake was pressed in 2015 and has since undergone natural ageing, which refines its bold, slightly astringent profile and enhances its mineral and woody complexity. The Hong Tai Chang brand, founded in Yunnan in the early 20th century, has brought its expertise to Thailand, maintaining classic techniques and quality standards.
This Sheng Pu-erh delivers a bright amber liquor with a crisp mouthfeel. Expect notes of raw wood, dried herbs, stone fruit, and camphor, followed by a clean, slightly cooling finish. An excellent choice for those who appreciate the evolving character of aged raw Pu-erh.
